Tracking is a sport that can be very useful in today's society.  Whether the dogs will ever be used in real life situations or not is not the point, the knowledge that they can do so when called upon is very rewarding.  Monte has had formal tracking training and has successfully trailed the girls when they ran away from home.  It's been a while since we have practiced for an AKC TD but that is our goal for the future.  Rachel has a natural talent with her nose and though not as formally trained as Monte she shows great promise.  A promise that she has passed on to her kids.  As rare as tracking practice has been, tracking photo's are even more rare so don't hold your breath waiting for tracking pictures to show up on this page ;-).
